An Evening of Symphonic ABBA:
The Thames Valley Festival Orchestra is coming to West Berkshire with their highly successful ‘Symphonic ABBA’ programme. The orchestra will perform these orchestral masterpieces in St Nicolas Church, Newbury on October 17, 2026.
The 65 piece symphony orchestra with rhythm section will showcase Louis Clark’s orchestral arrangements of the music of the legendary band, ABBA. The programme will feature perennial favourites such as SOS, Mamma Mia, I Have a Dream, Money Money Money, Chiquitita, Voulez Vous, Super Trouper and many more.*
Louis Clark was legendary for his work as keyboard player and string arranger with The Electric Light Orchestra, ELO Part II and The Orchestra and for creating the Hooked on Classics series of recordings.
